Reksoft introduces online store for the retail chain «O’KEY»

The project which has been developed by Reksoft together with “O’KEY” had started in June 2014. At the moment the first stage of the project has been launched. At this stage the launched solution allows the consumers to order the products online and pick them up at the delivery outlet of the supermarket while spending no more than 5 minutes on it. Moreover, home delivery for the time chosen by the consumer is also an option. The order is being processed during 3 hours and is stored for 24 hours while the packaging of the purchased products is free. The range of products available online is based on the range of the physical store: food and non-food products.

Reksoft has implemented easy-to-use and modern web-showcase with flexible marketing functionality based on IBM WebSphere Commerce as well as accounting system for order tracking based on 1C trade tracking and integrated the solution with ERP system and cashier solution utilized in O’KEY. Reksoft is currently working on extending the services provided to O’KEY customers.

This project is very unique for the e-commerce market in Russia as it is the first project developed on IBM WebSphere Commerce, which is famous for providing smooth and coordinated communication with consumers along all the channels of interaction, including offline, online, mobile and social communications. In the process of working on the project Reksoft has delivered a thorough service for the client, including business consulting in e-commerce and logistics.

The launch of a new sales channel has allowed this major Russian retailer to enter the market of internet commerce for the first time. Setting up a modern internet store that allows shoppers to optimize their shopping experience, save time, effort and money is a new and important trend for Russia.

Consequently the project developed by Reksoft in cooperation with O’KEY won the Innovator of the Year Prize, awarded annually by the American Chamber of Commerce to outstanding companies making significant contributions to the economy and improving the regional investment climate, including the introduction and development of cutting-edge technologies.

The American Chamber of Commerce in St. Petersburg is a non-state, non-profit international organization whose main goal is to develop St. Petersburg and the north-western region of Russia as an attractive investment market for Russia.
