The personal integrated account concept for the O’KEY mobile application developed in cooperation with the Reksoft company (part of the Technoserv group of companies) has been recognized as the “Project of the Year” within the contest held by Global CIO – the largest official community of IT Directors of Russia. The project won the award for the “Best industry-specific solution” in the category “Retail trade and distribution”.
The “Project of the Year” contest organized by Global CIO – the professional community of Chief Information Officers of Russia is held for the seventh time now. In 2018, over 200 projects were submitted to participate in the contest.
The personal integrated account concept for the O’KEY mobile application has started up at the end of 2018. Within this concept, the team made up of the developers of the retailer and Reksoft has created an omnichannel loyalty system for the O’KEY company which integrates online and offline sales with a user-friendly intuitive interface and additional services. For example, an O’KEY buyer can look through promotional and personal offers, use the loyalty card, accumulate stickers and spend bonuses. Besides, the retail chain client will be able to analyse the history of online and offline purchases, to see at a glance the amounts of money paid and saved.
The project has been developed for the online shop website and for mobile applications based on the IOS and Android operating systems through the integration of IBM WebSphere Commerce with Manzana Loyalty and DWH.
This led to an increase of around 35% in the number of visits to O’KEY accounts, the promotions “Operate the Redmond household appliances” with electronic stickers and
“New Year 2019” using the personal omnichannel account have been successfully carried out.
Alexander Egorov, General Director of the Reksoft company, Board member of the Technoserv group of companies, has commented: “It was a great pleasure to receive a high appraisal from the colleagues of results of the project aimed at creating an integrated omnichannel loyalty system for the O’KEY company combining online and offline sales. We hope that this solution will allow our customer to facilitate interaction with the clients and to expand the target audience embracing those segments of it which did not use offline before and vice versa”.
Elena Remennikova, eCommerce Director of the O’KEY group of companies has commented: “Modern buyers seek to optimize the time allocated to shopping. Promoting online trading and providing our buyers with useful and high-quality services is a part of the plan for further O’KEY development. Winning the “Project of the Year” award proves that the strategy we have chosen is relevant to the entire retail market. The O’KEY team is grateful to the Global CIO jury for the recognition of the application developed by us and the appraisal of our work. We hope that buyers will also be able to appreciate the usability and the multi-functionality of both the integrated account and other features of the mobile application”.
It is not the first time when the O’KEY mobile application has gained recognition of the industry professionals. In March 2018, the expert jury of the “Best mobile app awards” contest has bestowed the platinum award on the O’KEY mobile application with the Mobile Family function. The experts appreciated the simplicity and user-friendliness of the project. O’KEY was the first application in the Russian market to offer to buyers purchasing the full range of food products and related goods sold in a traditional hypermarket.
