Alexander Egorov, CEO of Reksoft, one of the leading Russian developers of digital solutions, was named one of the top three top managers of the year according to the publishing house “Kommersant SPb” in the field of information technology.
“Top Managers of the Year” is a rating of the most successful St. Petersburg leaders in the main sectors of the city’s economy. The winners are chosen through a vote involving the heads of competing companies in St. Petersburg.
In 2020, Kommersant SPb reviewed 21 competitive sectors of the economy of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region and interviewed more than 300 heads of leading companies in the region.
Business leaders selected the top three executives in the industry from an average of ten applicants.
Traditionally, the initial pool of nominees was determined by “Kommersant SPb” taking into account the candidates proposed by the participants in previous years, as well as with the help of representatives of the executive authorities of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, business associations and industry associations.
Alexander Egorov is the founder and CEO of digital solutions developer Reksoft, one of the founders of Ozon.ru, which successfully went public in 2020 on the NASDAQ stock exchange, Internet payment system Assist.ru, an expert in the field of IT business and entrepreneurship.
Alexander takes an active part in the life of the IT community. In 2020, his efforts as a member of the board of RUSSOFT, a non-profit partnership of software development companies in Russia, were aimed at such topics as increasing the export potential of domestic software products in the field of import substitution, as well as actively working with technological satraps.
During the 2020 business season, Alexander Egorov acted as a mentor in the international program of innovative projects Sk[ai] Hub: “The Global Challenge – Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)” launched by the Skolkovo Foundation.
