Reksoft signs partnership agreement with HCL Technologies

Reksoft, one of Russia’s leading software developers, has joined HCL Technologies’ partnership programme, gaining Business Partner status.

In July 2019, HCL Technologies acquired seven of IBM’s software platforms for $1.8 billion. Appscan, Unica, Commerce, Portal, Notes, Domino and Connections will now evolve within the new HCL Software division. Vendor and partnership agreements stipulate that the transition of products to HCL will not entail significant changes for existing customers. All current customer and IBM contracts will be honoured, serviced, and executed by IBM, while new contracts have already been signed with HCL Technologies.

Reksoft’s partnership agreement with HCL Technologies relates to a number of products: Digital Commerce, for the development of omnichannel e-commerce solutions; and Collaboration, which includes the Notes and Domino e-mail and application development platforms. Under the terms of the new partnership agreement, Reksoft is entitled to sell licenses and provide technical support to users of HCL Technologies software.

“Reksoft’s partnership with HCL Technologies is particularly important for digital transformation projects for retailers,” says Reksoft’s Director of Business Development Nikolai Potapov. “The HCL Commerce platform [formerly IBM WebSphere Commerce] makes it possible to create much more than an online store – these holistic, omnichannel solutions ensure retailers can continue to grow sales through web and mobile applications.”
