The IT directors community for the independent 2015 Global CIO Project of The Year Awards event took place on January 28. Reksoft, a member of Technoserv Group, won an award as nominated for the Best Market Solution in Retail and Distribution. The project-winner is the online store developer for “O’KEY” Group: this solution helped athe large retailer emerge on the online retail market and open several shipping centers as well. The company has been awarded for its innovative approach to retail atomization.
The Global CIO Project of The Year Award is a one-of-a-kind annual event that presents IT market specialists depicting the most interesting and complicated projects of the past year along with sharing and experience that helps improve project quality as well as the overall national level of Russian IT development. Only IT directors registered in community can take part in the competition, which makes evaluation more independent and objective.
The project, which was developed for “O’KEY” Group, began in June 2014. By the online store’s launch, we had developed an easy, modern, and user-friendly web-display, flexible marketing tools, and an account order processing system. Reksoft now provides extended support for the online store and is developing new functions and mobile apps. The service allows consumers to order products online and pick them up at the supermarket’s delivery outlet, which takes no longer than 5 minutes. On top of that, home delivery for the consumer-chosen time is an option as well. The order is processed in 3 hours and is stored for 24 hours with free packaging for the purchased products.
This project is unparalleled on the e-commerce market in Russia as it is the first project developed in IBM WebSphere Commerce, which is famous for maintaining smooth and coordinated communication with consumers along all interaction channels, including offline, online, mobile, and social communication. During the project’s development process, Reksoft delivered a thorough service for the client, including e-commerce and logistics business consultations.
It is not the first time that Reksoft has been awarded by the Global CIO community. In 2015, the company won in 2 nominations for the best solution on the field: of the creation of a new testing complex in the VTB24 bank project was chosen as the best communication and services solution and the financial limits management system in the VTB24 bank improvement project won the innovations approach nomination.
