Project Management Methodology Reksoft employs ISO 9001 certified project management methodology, which incorporates the best practices recommended by CMMI Level 4. PMI PMBOK is set as the project management framework. A tailored version of RUP (Rational Unified Process) is considered to be the mainstream project methodology. Each particular engagement process is adjusted to meet specific customer requirement. The RUP-based project methodology is in force at Reksoft since 1999. In 2001, Reksoft adopted an Agile Project Management Methodology. It is based on SCRUM and subset of XP (eXtreme Programming). This methodology primarily used in end-customer engagements (e.g. UPM, SaxoBank, PixArt.RU) and in outsourced product development scenario. Reksoft carries vast experience in distributed development and offers considerable expertise in delivering large, long-term and mission-critical projects, such as for Saxo Bank, Swisscom, SoftBrands, and Vimpelcom (project case studies section). Reksoft Project Managers are not only proficient in modern technologies and methodology, but understand the close tie between technology and business. All of them have passed extensive training in Project Management Practices and Techniques (by Carnegie Mellon Institute). Reksoft senior personnel receive Management training, at the St. Petersburg International Management Institute. Project Management Portal Reksoft uses an integrated Project Management Portal (based on Microsoft Project Server platform) for planning, monitoring, and controlling projects. The Reksoft Project Portal gives customers secure access to real-time information on their projects. The portal offers a set of standard collaboration tools: project planning, reporting, issue management, announcements and alerting, document sharing and more. Project Management Quick Facts
