Russian Students Among Winners of 2005 World Programming Championship

78 teams representing 71 countries took part in the World Finals of the annual ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest, which this year was held on April 6 in Shanghai, China. Students from Moscow State University and St. Petersburg Institute of Fine Mechanics and Optics won the silver and bronze medals of the championship this year.
