Description |
Reksoft conceived, designed, and created the Russian equivalent of Amazon.com. Ozon.ru is the first online store in Russia, intended for more than just online sales, but for providing users with valuable information on books, writers, films, actors, awards and festivals, offering online interviews with artists, writers and celebrities. Reksoft created an international web portal, which is now recognized as Russia's undisputed leader in online book and video sales. With numerous customers worldwide, Ozon has by far surpassed all initial expectations, and keeps continually gaining influence and recognition. OZON.RU uses DynaSite, Reksoft proprietary platform for advanced web content management, e-commerce and personalization. OZON.RU is Russia's largest online store distributing books in Russian, videos, music, and software to approximately 60 countries. Launched in 1998, the web portal offers approximately 32'000 books, 10'000 videos, 6'000 CDs. It's database with over 30'000 documents, contains books & videos descriptions, reviews, biographies of authors and movie actors, interviews, a picture library of books, videos and actors and has over 70'000 registered buyers and receives at least 10'000 visits per day. Reksoft has hugely enhanced its e-Business expertise and product portfolio with the timely creation of a customer-centric book retailing website, which firmly holds the leading position in online retailing in Russia. In 1999 Ozon was spun off as an independent business unit and has since then entered an even more exciting growth phase. Monthly turnover exceeds US$1 million. |
