In early 2001, Reksoft was selected as a candidate for future competence center development, thanks to several major factors: experience in Telecom OSS/BSS, active customer network in Russian Mobile and Fixed Carrier Operators, as well as expertise in building product competence centers for international software vendors (ISV).
2001 - 2003 timeframe was dedicated to piloting, instilling and improving the basic management processes and know-how transfer to Reksoft. In this time, Reksoft provided Comverse and its customers in Russia with a series of smaller projects, mainly in pre-billing and billing mediation.
After a successful piloting and initial knowledge transfer phase, Reksoft and Comverse put a major joint effort to the development of a proper client engagement management framework. This project governance scheme became a reliable environment for project management in the triangle formed between Customer (Wireless or Wireline Operator) - Comverse (Engagement and Account Management, total solution provider) - Reksoft (implementation, customization and software development partner).
Successful implementation of the engagement management framework allows the parties to approach larger implementation projects, that require a higher level of expertise in Comverse products and Telecommunications market and operators' business processes from Reksoft. From the year 2002, Reksoft is involved in numerous projects in the field of customer care, pre-billing, billing mediation, offline charging, CRM and application integration.
As it was reported by Erez Michael (Director of Solution Expert, International Division of Comverse) during the "Outsourcing to Russia and CIS" event, held in London in April 2006, Comverse has captured the following benefits from working with Reksoft:
