Amedia is the leader on the Russian market of television and movie production with more than a dozen of popular TV series. To increase the operational efficiency, Amedia team needed a robust platform for managing their rich media content.
After the comprehensive vendor search in the spring 2006, Reksoft Document Management Systems Consulting BU was chosen to develop a repository, based on EMC Documentum platform, which would allow Amedia cost effectively manage rich media content (MTS, AVTS, DAM) and seamlessly archive and retrieve broadcast files and footage.
The system was also integrated with the script editing application developed on Eclipse Rich Client Platform (RCP).
So far, this has been the largest systems development and integration project in Russia on EMC Documentum with more than 200 automated work places.
