On September 18th, 2006, representatives from 10 member-companies of DI (Confederation of Danish Industries) and ITEK (trade association of IT, Telecommunications, Electronics and Communication enterprises in Denmark) made a stop at St. Petersburg within the framework of the Facts Finding Tour to Russia, to research the opportunities in cooperating with Russian software development vendors. The Danish delegation was mostly interested in scoping the embedded software development skills of Russian providers.

Svetlana Vronskaya of Reksoft attended the meeting, sharing her insights into the Russian IT industry with the guests while exposing the relevant Reksoft experience. Among the Reksoft successes Svetlana had mentioned are:

  • development for handheld devices (Windows CE), as part of a series of projects for a major European System Integrator;
  • embedded development for Francotyp-Postalia, the German producer of franking machines, where Reksoft R&D team managed to increase the performance of the target process by 30%, while saving the Customer another 30% in development costs;
  • the 10-years-long partnership in the development for Ascotel PBX.
